When we constructed the Corner Market at Angel Stadium, it was a rapid success for the stadium, providing a convenient
concessions pit stop for baseball fans. However, they quickly realized that the coolers in the market produced too much heat to close the roll-up doors and maintain the room temperature in the Market. The Angels blessed us with the opportunity to return to The Corner Market and install a new inline fan and vent the heat out. The scope of work included framing, electrical and of course, HVAC.

On the view level of Angel Stadium you’ll find a unique hand full chairs called The Skybox. Right against the rail with a bird’s eye view of the game are luxury seats. One problem, there used to be a green safety rail in the line of sight of the people sitting in these chairs. We removed the existing rail and installed a laminated safety glass system to create a spectacular, unobstructed view of the field.

Watkins Landmark was asked to cut a six foot wide opening between suites 43 and 44 to combine the spaces creating a larger, platinum luxury suite. In place of the wall, we installed a custom sliding barn door to divide the spaces when needed. Thanks to Craig Wooldridge, Project Engineer and Jerry Carter, Carpenter, we were able to complete the full scope of work within our 8-day deadline, including demo, framing, drywall, electrical, paint, and baseboards.
